CSU’s Williams selected for Black College Hall
Former Central State football star Erik Williams has earned another plaudit to add to his storied career. In February, Williams will be formally inducted into the Black College Football Hall of Fame. Erik Williams was a star offensive lineman on Central State’s NAIA national championship team in 1990 and had a long career with the Dallas Cowboys.
Williams was one of six inductees selected from a list of 26 finalists.
The Central State University Foundation, an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is authorized by the IRS to receive, invest, manage, and dispose of gifts, bequests, art, cash and securities, and other contributions in accordance with the educational objectives of the University and the expressed wishes and desires of the donors.
The Foundation has a fiduciary responsibility to manage gifted funds consistent with CSU Foundation Board approved by-laws, IRS regulations, and the expressed purposes for which it was given. As such all gifts received are considered irrevocable and cannot be returned to the donor or transferred.
