The Central State University Foundation Announces the David Stinson and Durena Stinson Scholarship Program

The David Stinson and Durena Stinson Scholarship Program is committed to bringing exceptional students to Central State University. The program identifies graduating high school students with the potential to be change agents after college graduation. One student is selected each year to receive a scholarship award. The award is designed to pay tuition, room and board, fees, books, and provide a monthly stipend, allowing the student to focus on their studies.

The Central State University Foundation, an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is authorized by the IRS to receive, invest, manage, and dispose of gifts, bequests, art, cash and securities, and other contributions in accordance with the educational objectives of the University and the expressed wishes and desires of the donors.

The Foundation has a fiduciary responsibility to manage gifted funds consistent with CSU Foundation Board approved by-laws, IRS regulations, and the expressed purposes for which it was given. As such all gifts received are considered irrevocable and cannot be returned to the donor or transferred.
