We know how far our students can go, what great heights they can achieve, when they’re given the chance to succeed. You can help these students by investing in their dreams, just as someone may have helped you fulfill your own.

Name: Dr. Frank Black ’67
Donation: $25,000

Through his giving, Dr. Frank S. Black is challenging Central State University student recruiters, faculty, and alumni to encourage more black male students to consider elementary education as a plausible career option. Establishing a named endowment fund for teacher education “ just seemed like the perfect vehicle to permanently honor my beloved twin brother, Donald, and to make a difference at my Alma Mater, Central State University,” said Dr. Black.

Dr. Frank S. Black donated over $25,000 to Central State University Foundation to establish the Dr. Frank S. Black and Dr. Donald F. Black Endowed Teacher Education Scholarship Fund.
